BAKERSFIELD- Phillip Peters has added another major endorsement to his growing list of supporters in his run for Kern County Supervisor.

Peters has received the endorsement of Ridgecrest Mayor Peggy Breeden.

“Phillip Peters is a strong ally of the Ridgecrest community,” said Mayor Breeden. “As a Supervisor, he will continue to make sure we have a voice within Kern County.”

Since announcing his candidacy, Peters has received overwhelming support from Kern County residents, elected officials and trusted neighbors.

Peters is a lifelong resident of Kern County. As a former Kern High School District Trustee, he served from 2014 to 2018. He is also a district director for Supervisor Gleason. While on the Kern High School Board, Peters focused on improving access to career technical education, providing more choice in children’s education, empowering local educators, and ensuring accountability and transparency at all levels of education.

Phillip lives in Bakersfield with his wife and son. He is an avid sportsman and woodworker.
